Artist Statement: Working with glass provides me with an intense satisfaction because I learn something new everyday in the world of glass. In the past, I looked at glass traditionally and it wasn't until I started taking classes in stained glass and seeing some of the beautiful work done in glass that I started to really appreciate glass for its artistic qualities.
Migrating from stained glass, I have since developed my own unique style in working with fused glass and flameworking. Glass has become my biggest artistic passion and I strive to expand on both my knowledge and artistic expression daily.
If I am able to create an item that is not only beautiful as a work of art but is also functional then I have achieved my objective to bring a little unique beauty into this world.
